AI agents (MCP)

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant to your store.

An AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT can work in your store: find products, review orders and sales, add products, change prices and stock, fulfill or cancel orders. It connects through MCP (Model Context Protocol) and acts as you, with your role, on your store only.

Connect it from claude.ai

1. In claude.ai go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
2. Paste the MCP server URL: your Shopping Master domain followed by /mcp (shown in Settings → AI agents).
3. Click Connect: Shopping Master opens. Sign in if needed and click Allow.

ChatGPT works the same way, from Settings → Connectors. In Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http shoppingmaster <URL>, then /mcp to sign in.

What it can do

• See the store, products, categories, inventory, orders, customers, pages and a sales summary.
• Create and edit products (price, stock, description, categories, visibility).
• Fulfill orders with tracking, mark them paid and cancel them.
• Edit the store details (owners and managers).

Deleting, cancelling, anything about money and anything shoppers see always asks you first. What it does is done as if you did it: with the order history, the customer emails and the inventory history.

Tokens and disconnecting

Settings → AI agents lists the connected apps; you can disconnect each one. If your MCP client asks for a token instead of signing in, create one there (it is shown once). Changing your password disconnects every app and token.
